What is a Bitumen Emulsion Mill?

Bitumen emulsion is a dispersed liquid composed of three components: water droplets, bitumen, and an emulsifier. Since bitumen is a petroleum-based product, it does not easily separate into fine droplets. To address this issue, an emulsifier is used.

The emulsifier prevents the bitumen from mixing with other droplets and keeps it in the form of fine particles. First, water is mixed with an appropriate emulsifier and other chemical substances. Then, bitumen is added to the water-emulsifier mixture in a colloid mill.
