VD Series Internally Eccentric Pumps CatalogVD-40 is a positive displacement transfer pump working on the internal eccentric gear principle. The volume formed between the driven outer rotor and the freely rotating inner gear expands on the suction side to draw the fluid in and contracts on the discharge side to push it out. Flow is proportional to speed and independent of pressure. Efficiency rises with viscosity because internal slip decreases. The foot mounted casing carries the shaft in fluid lubricated plain bearings; the compact construction suits direct coupling to a standard motor.
