VL-25 Lobe Pump

VL-25 lobe pump for shear sensitive products and fluids containing soft particles. Flow up to 3.3 m³/h at 400 rpm (≤ 165 cSt); differential pressure up to 12 bar, DN25 suction and discharge, viscosity 10 ~ 55,000 cSt, temperature 0 ~ 150 °C.

VL-25 is a positive displacement pump working on the volume between two non-contacting lobes. The lobes never touch each other; they are driven through a synchronising gearbox that is separated from the wetted volume. This is what lets the pump carry solid particles and shear sensitive products and be cleaned easily. All wetted parts are stainless steel. Flow is proportional to speed and independent of pressure; running at low speed keeps shear low, so emulsions and suspensions are not broken.
