VDK-50 bracket mounted internal eccentric gear pump for bitumen, fuel oils, resins and other viscous fluids. Flow up to 11.9 m³/h at 450 rpm (≤ 165 cSt); differential pressure up to 16 bar, DN50 suction and discharge, viscosity 10 ~ 55,000 cSt, temperature 0 ~ 230 °C.
VD Series Internally Eccentric Pumps CatalogVDK-50 is a positive displacement transfer pump working on the internal eccentric gear principle. The volume formed between the driven outer rotor and the freely rotating inner gear expands on the suction side to draw the fluid in and contracts on the discharge side to push it out. Flow is proportional to speed and independent of pressure. Efficiency rises with viscosity because internal slip decreases. In the bracket mounted construction the shaft bearing is separated from the casing, so drive loads and shaft overhang are not carried by the pump casing.
